Garn

Alle våre garn er laget av 100% norsk ull, og hele prosessen, fra uvasket ull til ferdig garn foregår under samme tak hos oss i Klæbu utenfor Trondheim. Våre garn er spunnet av ull med sauens egne farger. Vi har også et lite utvalg håndfarget garn for salg, men dette er i små partier og fargene er alltid helt unike. Our facility accommodates the whole production line from the raw fleece to finished yarn, felt, rug yarn or carded wool. We have machines for small scale wool processing, and our production demands a lot of manual labour by our skilled workers. We use few chemicals and strive to utilize as much of the wool as possible to lower production waste. We always seek to optimize our processes to make high quality products with low environmental impact. 

Our yarns are spun from 100% Norwegian wool. The whole production line, from raw wool to finished product is done in our tiny factory in Klæbu, in the middle of Norway. We spin the natural shades of the sheep wool, because the beauty of the sheep’s own colour deserves to shine. We also hand dye small baches of yarn in our little dying kitchen. Use the hand died yarn as tiny sparks of colour when knitting with our natural shades. To learn more about the different yarn types, click the yarn names above.
